CollegeComfortU offers comprehensive college preparation and application packages to provide hands-on guidance throughout every step of the college application process. These packages are flexible, allowing you to determine where you would like the most help. Our goal is to work with you to develop unique and compelling college applications that are perfected to best reflect your strengths and to set you apart from your peers.
From beginning to end, we will assist you with all stages of the college selection and application process. The initial consultation is 90 minutes and consists of an in-depth interview with the student and the student’s family in person. During the meeting, we will review the student’s transcripts, test scores, extracurricular activities, and life experiences.
Many students choose to begin working with us in their Sophomore or Junior year. However, planning can begin as early as 8th or 9th grade so that the student is academically prepared for high school and college.
INDIVIDUALIZED PLAN
This is a very personal process where we work closely with the family to develop a strategic and individualized plan to represent the student’s unique characteristics and maximize the student’s chances of admission at his/her chosen schools. In order to offer our families the attention they deserve to successfully navigate the college preparation, search and application process, we limit the number of students with whom we work to 20 students (per graduating class) and spaces fill quickly.

- Crafting extraordinary college applications
- Brainstorming, outlining, editing, and proofreading essays
- Discovering and explaining why you are unique
- Determining where to apply
- Preparing for interviews
- Managing application materials and timeline
- Developing academic enrichment plans
- Improving time-management and study skills
- Developing a standardized test preparation plan
- Applying for Scholarships
- Advising on high school course selection
- FAFSA Assistance
- Advising on extracurricular activities and community involvement
- Identifying and obtaining appropriate internships
- Suggestions for handling deferments and wait lists
- Post-application assistance including final choices, scholarship review and financial aid
Service Packages
CollegeComfortU offers two comprehensive packages: Gold Package or Platinum Package. We will discuss during our initial consultation which package best suits your personal needs.
*Any student applying to 20 plus colleges or Ivy League schools MUST purchase the Platinum Package.
* Maximum number of Supplemental Essays = 10 (Gold Package).
*Any Additional Supplemental Essays please refer to our a la carte services.
The following services to be purchased a la carte for SENIORS only:
- College Essay: $300
- Supplemental Essays: $75 per essay
Payment plans are available.
A 10% discount will be applied if payment is made in full at first meeting.
